PROGRAM PURPOSE
- Create a playground to exchange, share experiences and start-up models among students from 12 schools in the Universities of Startup Incubation (UNIIC).
- Equipping students with new knowledge about entrepreneurship, technology start-ups and opportunities to interact with founders of start-ups, experts, startup mentors and local start-up models.
CONDITIONS OF SELECTION
- Startup projects participating in the recruitment must meet the following criteria:
- Start-up ideas based on technology elements (Technopreneurship) in the fields of Engineering - Technology, Biotechnology, or applying new technology techniques to a specific business area, or business model new business based on exploiting e-commerce and artificial intelligence platforms.
- Have a prototype, or a business model in progress (if it's a new business model).
- The maximum number of members per project is not more than 03 students, must be students studying at the training systems of Can Tho University, able to communicate in English.
- Members must have passports valid for at least 6 months from October 2023.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM PARTICIPATION COST
- Students of selected projects will be able to compete with competing teams from universities within UNIIC. Participation cost, estimated at 10,000,000 VND/student, from the following sources:
- The Center will consider supporting the cost of preparing videos, sample products, application documents (not exceeding VND 1,000,000/project), and domestic transportation in Vietnam.
- The UNIIC Organizing Committee will partially support the cost of meals, airport transfers and some activities within the framework of the program in Malaysia.
- The costs of travel, accommodation, accommodation, round-trip air tickets are borne by the students themselves.
Besides:
- Selected projects, if they belong to the incubation packages provided by the Center, may be considered to use part of the incubation costs to participate.
- Students selected to participate in the program can be considered for short-term overseas student exchange scholarships at the school/faculty/institute of management if they meet the criteria for scholarship consideration as prescribed by the University. The specific amount of the scholarship is decided by the student management unit.
- The participating teams, if they win prizes at the contest, will be rewarded by the School according to regulations.
REGISTRATION PROCESS
Projects to apply for admission must submit:

- Deadline for receiving application documents: from the date of announcement to 17h00 on 23/6/2023
- Deadline for notification of selection results: June 30, 2023.
